Jackson Benetti was born as the son of slave mineworkers on Abbadon, but his parents died in a mining accident when he was 6. Jax continued to work in the mines until the age of 12, when he was sold to an recruter of The Parabellum Society.

Jackson has comprehensive combatknowledge and experience from his time with The Society. He has received special explosives training and can operate all kinds of explosives.

Jax is currently employed aboard the Stardust and the ship's first officer.
