This timeline is a best approximation to keep major dates, events, and records internally consistent. It is canon only until it isn’t, adjusted as needed and hopefully kept in line. Any inconsistencies should be recorded and reported to the proper authorities. Thank you for understanding. ◈ Paratolic Era (PE) The era before the opening of the Wyrmhole. This period is primarily chronicled through Celestial viewpoints, tracking the earliest creation of sentient life within the Reach until the arrival of dragons. ◈ 2100PE Celestial Arrival — Led by Tyranel, the first Celestials successfully sail through The Manastorm to settle upon what would later be known as Tyrafin. They arrive in hopes of finding a cure for a sickness that plagues Tyranel: instead, they find a home. ◈ 2071PE The Cradle of Life — Finding Tyrafin abundant with the materials needed to fuel their creations, the Celestials begin creating new life from the Stone, the Storm, and the Sea within The Cradle of Life. These fledgling species were sculpted under the watchful eye of the Celestials before being unleashed upon the world-at-large to discover what laid beyond The Arcane Sea. ◈ c. 2060PE Tyranel's Final Passage — Tyranel's sickness could not be cured, and the sage leader of the Celestials was laid to rest within the Cradle. To honour his legacy, his disciples spread across the newly-named Tyrafin in order to extend the reach of their Kingdom. For over two millennia, they were exalted upon the continent while their creations grew and spread across the Reach. ◈ 5PE The Wyrmhole Appears — Beginning as a new star in the sky — visible even in daytime — the Wyrmhole grew and split the sky in the years and months leading up to its inevitable opening. Soothsayers promised the end of the world being heralded. ◈ 0 The Wyrmhole Opens — The Wyrmhole rips apart, threatening to collapse upon itself as a pulse of energy and colour streaks across the sky. Panic insues as five gargantuan creatures appear in the sky above the Reach, crashing upon Tyrafin. Delegations from across the Reach sail toward Dragon's Landing to investigate. The Wyrmhole continues to pulse and emit energy, allowing a dark entity to slip in unseen. ◈ Drakari Arrivum (DA) The era following the opening of the Wyrmhole and the arrival of the Hierarchy. This period is chronicled through Hierarchy-aligned archivists and historians, painting the era with a particularly utopian slant, a veneer that is only now beginning to crack in the general consciousness. ◈ 1DA The Upheaval — Realizing they had been followed through the Wyrmhole, the The Prime Dragons align with the inhabitants of the Reach to combat the darkness. Heavily casualties are suffered and Tyrafin is forever changed as the invasion is curbed, and Elzaron seals the Wyrmhole once and for all. ◈ 5DA The Hierarchy Begins — With the blessing of the Reach's inhabitants, the wise and benevolent Prime Dragons establish The Hierarchy to usher in a new era of prosperity across Kerebos under a united role. ◈ 9DA The Dragonspire's Construction — The influence of the Hierarchy spreads across the Reach. Their first clutches hatch, swarming across the Reach to establish dens of their own. Additionally, the Prime Dragons build The Dragonspire, a monument to their kind towering over the northern coast of Tyrafin. It is here the first Dragonkin were created in scale, wing, and fang to serve as the right arm of the Prime Dragons. ◈ 458DA The Alderwood's End — Over the previous four centuries, The Alderwood had slowly been sapped of its strength. What remains now is untamed, volatile, and exceedingly dangerous. Frostide's decline is in full effect. ◈ 471DA The Obsidian Spire's Destruction — Rogue magic destroys The Obsidian Spire, also resulting in the obliteration of Frostide outposts Hope and Wake. ◈ 479DA Present Day — The events of C3: Wither and Bloom transpire. ◈
