| "The cold thought," or "The storm's thought" | Garal | An idiom relating to the ominous truth of a situation that one prefer's not to think about, eg: the real chance of freezing to death if you are caught in a snowstorm. |
| "And the horse threw a shoe" | Garal | An idiom similar in usage to "adding insult to injury" or "anything that can happen, will happen." It refers to an additional inconvenience after a long chain of misfortunes. |
| "The goddess works with what is growing." | Zhenhai | An saying used to indicate that there needs to be or has been action or goodness on the part of the worshiper before divine intervention by the goddess. |
