  1. What is the primary role or function of a Sapiens in your world?

A Medica is the closet direct equivalent to what we would consider a primary care physician, though they also cover dentistry and optometry. The only part of the body they don't cover are diseases concerned with the humours themselves (such as blood, bile, urine, etc.) which if they're not diagnosable by sight alone, require a Pharmacologa's input. They operate with the doctrine of signatures whereas the Pharmacologa focus on humours.

They own small clinics, work in hospitals, and are the lowest rank which can work for a palace or army as an independant healer (not a resident or assisstant).

This is an intermediate rank which means the subject has been initiated into a guild and passed all tests for the L4 Residens profession as well as completed the training requirements. Tbey are typically not selected for executive leadership positions but do work as mentors and teachers for lower ranks, and so have some management/delegation experience.
