Lady-luck Valley
Lady Luck's Meadow is a stretch of land which borders the Eskern Forest and the borders of the Northeast Sealtland Desert. While there is some Tourist and Pilgimidge attractions that are relatively safe, a place like Lady Luck's Meadow is found behind the train yards that power the nearby stations. But nothing can seem to outlast the meadow, and there is a courtyard with a fountain in the listance that you never get closer to. That courtyard is one of Sancta Lundine;s Shrines, Sancta Lundine being the Priestess in Heno Province of Karkebi temple of Latis (Lady of the Lagoon).
What are your non-earth-like geographical features in your setting?
- The Meadow is actually what they call a "Picnic", which is a gathering of lichen who are feeding off the grave wax of a nearby graveyard. They are usually anchored to a tree such as Oak or Pine.
- Everything else is infertile, trash-filled farming land. Although they're farming communities they're mostly ruled by the Coriniaid who play around in the graveyard
- Orache fields where Auroch Coriniaid seem to gather, seem to have been successful for farming Coriniaid Seeds (basically silica-coated Wrakka seads).
What’s the general “lay of the land” of your active worldbuilding area?
- Fields and "rolling hills" of grasslands between the hifhland desert of Northeastern Sealtland, but the land is not super fertile and there are wild clusters of forest life that have eaten human settlements, particuarly one known as Bog-Lily
- There are some wetlands and swamps and a nearby water reservoir, so a creek and park goes through the meadow
- The trees are so tall it's blocking out the sun and always feels like it's night
- Lots of wild grasslands and overgrown farmlands, abandoned villages
And what is the climate or environment like, in your active worldbuilding area?
- It's always dark out due to the smog and constant storms between the two rock formations (Headless Mountains) that border Eskern. This corner is the strategic location in an area called no-man's land where Lundine of the Lagoon lives and overlooks everybody
- It is constantly raining
- Inhospitable but people still try to live there
Next, What is the ecosystem & habitat like in your active worldbuilding area?
- It's very hard to live here, most of them end up being lower-functioning Nachkommen or the occasional Urkommen attempts which often can't survive the environment
- There is plenty of "wildlife" but they are usually Coriniaid or rural Goodwiches, and the occasional luck Hominicula.
- It's almost always raining and they are desperate for a sunny day, so definitely flood tolerant plants and animals, this is where the Pilotfish are from as a lot of "Red Hands" (Algae) and Kelpen (Seaweed monsters)
Finally, what natural resources are found in your active worldbuilding area?
- The valley contains the following:
- Heavy Metal - Silverfish are mined here, made of actual lead and silver
- Citron - Formalin? Technically the large amount of Armored Arthropod settlement could yield an incredible amount of organic matter
- Flint - None, only minor amounts in the gravel
- Brimstone - A lot of it in certain piping, a couple of mines
- Brine - Along the lagoon, salt-rich and very tourist friendly and luxurious (this is not the valley but the neighbouring area, people will stay in Lady-luck Valley for cheap
