Lordlings of the Selve

The Peripheral's Light

This Unspoken organization believes in the gods of the Selvedge and beyond. They believe strongly in "The Edge that is Seen but Unknown". This ideology is based firmly on this idea, with a spiritual goal in mind; they wish to expand their view, knowing that infinity is beyond it.   Peripheral vision is the manifestation of their faith. To see, but to fail to fully comprehend. To hear something that borders silence, and to just graze at feeling. These things are their holiest moments, sacred to their ways of life. Just before death is the most sacred moment of life to the Lordlings of the Selve, as their heaven is within the inifinity between everything that ever could be and void beyond it.

A Legacy of Peace

As one of the oldest Sects of the Unspoken, the Lordlings of the Selve are naturally one of the more well regarded by general folk. Seen less as religious devotees, the Selvelings are more spiritually minded, taking many hours of each day devoted to concentration of their senses to the brink of perception in meditation.   Devoted largely to the selvedge, they are seen as a less eratic and desctructive, and far less zealous form of the Clericus Silaea. Something of a peaceful counterpart, though they regard themselves as nothing close to those fanatics.
