Strife Specibus Form

A complicated Bracer Form to be sure! In order to acquire this Form, a Strife Specibus from Homestuck, and the Inventory Slot it is stored in, must be sacrificed. You can also Synchronize, but that's complicated so I (Viirin) will say it later.   The Specibus is attuned to one weapon type only, and it cannot be changed. Each Contestant who takes part in Sburb already has one such Strife Specibus Card, and the weapon is already decided.   A Magestaffkind Card, or Mage Staff Kind Strife Specibus Card, for example, is capable of storing an infinite number of magical staves within itself. In order to equip one, the user simply has to think about which one they want in their hand at the time, and the Specibus will teleport it into your hand as desired. But this is a P.L.O.T. Device Upgrade Form, so of course it doesn't work the same.   The Bracer itself remains invisible to any non-Contestant, but the weapon it teleports into the Contestant's hand is exactly as visible as the weapon should be. Not all weapons are visible...   Now, if a Contestant never got a Strife Specibus Card, but they Synchronize P.L.O.T. Devices to gain this Form, then the Form will pick a weapon for the Contestant on its own. Sometimes the Contestant's Patron may choose the weapon, and sometimes Nexus does it.   Just like the Specibus on its own, weapons created through Sburb's alchemy system only count as a magical weapon in the simplest sense; lacking any abilities that make them interesting in the slightest. However, if the Contestant has the matching Specibus, then all of its alchemical powers are usable.   Example: A Contestant has a Pistol Kind Strife Specibus, a compatible Classpect, and a pistol that's been alchemized with an ice cube. A normal person shooting a normal gun at a ghost would do nothing. If someone stole this pistol and fired it at the same ghost, it would simply do normal pistol damage and nothing more. For the Contestant that has all these items though, the gun does damage and freezes the ghost, no matter how little sense that makes.   If the Strife Specibus Form is switched to the base bracer form, or some other form, then whatever weapon they summoned is returned to the Strife.
