Aslandic is very similar to Swedish and/or Nordic. It originates from Nordic and is spoken throughout Aslandia. Everyone is taught this language at a young age. However, some places do have other languages that originate from their ancestor's original spoken language which was taken from the country that they originated from before escaping to Aslandia. The first basic form of Aslandic was created and designed by the first true king in 1253. It was based around his spoken language however it also incorporated a lot of Latin and other eastern European languages. The language never really had much Japanese or Chinese though, as it didn't follow the same rule set as the majority of the other languages. They also weren't complete, with Japanese still not having a proper writing system at the time.
All translations in Aslandia and other Safe Haven languages have already been translated for you within the books. However, if you should want to learn the languages and be able to understand the written, spoken and verbal dialects; I will include a proper language guide at the bottom.
Enjoy!

Most places use Aslandic as its primary language. However some places prefer to use Their own languages that are derived from their original ancestral languages. An example of this is in Ziian where they speak Ziianra a form of Chinese, Korean and Japanese. However every place is required to know Aslandic as it is the language of the whole nation and allows for better communication between regions.
