Well aware of the major corruption within the Empire's officials, she has on more than one occasion hired hijackers to take the supply ships away from the corrupt government and rerouted them to other planets more in need of them. She is under great scrutiny by the Empire.

Just another useless "senator." she allowed her supply ship to be completely
hijacked by just a handful of relatively amateur saboteurs, then did not even
attempt to work with the hijackers to come to some terms. An Ineffectual
leader, I genuinely feel sorry for those that are under her command, seems
like a terrible ruler.
