A.C. Runt

AC Runt was an Alpha Class ARC Trooper and officer in the Grand Army of the Republic. After a particularly bloody battle which resulted in the death of many Clone Troopers under his command and the scarring of AC's face as well as the loss of his right arm, he deserted in shame. AC blamed himself for the loss of his comrades and could no longer bear the weight of ordering his brothers into battle.   AC drifted around the galaxy, avoiding both the Republic and the Confederacy, until he ended up on Batuu. Here he met the future members of Zephyr Cell, Ascaris, Rascol, Sazo and Tarla. Together they escaped separatist forces on Batuu and began a quest that would take them to uncharted space, the discovery of an Old Republic Thranta Corvette, and finding a long forgotten Jedi repository.   AC is a veteran of a hundred battlefields, just as comfortable shooting a blaster rifle or barking orders as he is breathing. Since his early retirement he has also worked to develop his natural talents in negotiation and trading, preferring the low stakes work of merchant to that of commando. It is through this pursuit that AC contributes the most to his cell and the resistance as a whole.   Through legitimate trading and business ventures AC helps to fund his cell's activities and clandestine missions. Adhering to the old adage that "no army can fight on an empty stomach", AC works to keep his comrades fed, sheltered, armed and armored. When not on trading expeditions or transporting cargo for profit, AC works with Ascaris to lead and plan their cell's activities.   AC is also very adept at leading training exercises and teaching the basics of combat. From squad tactics to marksmanship, AC helps prepare his fighters to face the Empire and anything else they may encounter in the field.
