28. Saving Zoduu
General Summary
- Zodu agrees to change our transponder before we leave so we can take our ship on his mission
- While we wait for Zodu, Valos spends some time exploring the star charts we recovered and discovers a couple of planets
- Planets found: Liana, Morabond
- Kathirra gets some info about the Freed People of Rak who are
- Smugglers, pirates, and raided in the trillian sector in the gutra waid system glactic southwest, and Raige is their supposed leader. Not much is know about Raige but people say he was exiled from the Chis Accendancy
- Janico pulls Zodu to the side when he has a moment and shows him some script from the lightsaber asking if he knows it
- Zodu brings over his protocal droid but the droid doesn't recognize it. Before leaving I ask Zodu if he can ask around to see if he knows anyone whos might know more obscure languages
- We make our way over to where our ship is and when we arrive Kathirra spots the nose of a star fighter (Arc 71 Star fighter) around the corner of a building, that sounds like it's just been parked there
- As we get close to going inside the building we start to hear blaster fire coming from the hangar
- Inside we can see Zodu and some mechanics shooting at a group of aliens and battle droids
- Phaedrus heads into the fray over to Zodu saying we can help if he clears our debts, and Zodu quickly agrees (obviously)
- Mevlo quickly goes back to the ship outside to hopefully give us cover from above
- Janico runs closer and binds an the Cathar
- Everyone else runs closer to the group while Mevlo bring the ship around shooting at the battle droid destroying one
- The Cathar, takes aim at Janico but is not able to land a shot
- The enforcer droid also aims at Janico hitting him
- Janico become enraged and charges at the Cathar leap-frogging over him and igniting his lightsaber into his back killing him instantly
- The Trandoshan seeing this takes aim at Janico and begins running at him charging with a bayonet but misses
- The ramp starts to close on the G-9 in the hangar as it begins taking off leaving the Trandoshan/droids behind
