23. A Well Executed Sabatoge
General Summary
- After figuring out the plan for Janico/Phaedrus to wait for everyone to cause a distraction then carry explosive over flood the mine we head toward the mines
- Phaedrus flys Janico over the fence first but Janico can see the group talking that it's too dangerous to get everyone over this way
- After a moment Janico pulls out a purple lightsaber and cuts a slit into the fence for everyone to get through
- Once everyone is in we head toward the mining truck to hide while the patrol passes
- While they're passing one guard hears a noise from the truck and comes to investigate
- He pulls open the cargo tarp while Valos uses his force power to kill the trooper
- Mevlo see the trooper go down and starts to quickly put on the trooper outfit
- After a minute another trooper starts coming over asking if they found anything
- Mevlo having only taken the armor off the trooper says they should keep going and he'll catch up
- The other troopers says "ok we'll meet you at the next checkpoint" and tell him to stop drinking so much before their patrols
- Now that the patrol is gone Mevlo keeps dressing and we get to work getting the barrels
- Once he's dressed he walks toward to patrol and motions to his comms saying it's broken
- One of the troopers says "Oh our patrol is over anyways. Let's head in and get that looked at"
- The rest of the group gets to work moving the barrels off the transport
- Right before Mevlo enters the guard tower he yells through his helmet that he forgot his blaster at the truck and will go grab it quick
- Everyone else continues moving barrels and is able to get 4 in place before the second patrol comes by and notices them out of place
- As they come close they can hear us and call out asking if we're responsible for the barrells
- Zeeroh calls out "We'll fix it! Just don't come around here, please! How much??"
- The patrol doesn't buy it and starts making their way toward us
- Mevlo hears there might be an issue near the water plant and starts heading that way knowing there might be trouble
- Mevlo also sees the troopers from before come out of the tower and they motion for hims to follow
- One guard comes into the water plant and spots Valos behind a crate saying "What are you doing here?"
- Phaedrus swoops down and uses a pressure point to knock the tropper out
- Janico peeks out and spots another trooper and uses his force power to bind him
- Janico takes the opprotunity to rush from behind the crates towards the last 2 troopers igniting his saber stabbing through first with his speed carrying the blade into the second killing both
- Then Janico walks toward the bound trooper quickly slicing his head off
- Looking over the dead troopers we find a few frad grenades that we hope will be enough to make up for us missing a barrell
- Mevlos troopers see him getting a speed and think that's smart so they go get some themselves
- We get to work hiding the bodies in the crates and Mevlo motions to the troopers about one of the misplaced barrells so they investigate while Mevlo heads to the water plant
- While we're setting the grenades in place we find a mining charge with a remote detenator
- We place the charge and book it toward the cargo truck setting off the charge as we drive through the fence in the A19 iron crawler heading toward the Kon'me settlement
