If You Don't Start None, There Won't Be None

General Summary

After defeating the mutineers. the companions organized the remaining crew and opened the sails to put distance between the Condor and the pursuing Storm Bound pirates. Walker searched the pirate leader and discovered a tattoo of a lightning bolt inked on the inside of the man's wrist.   The group gathered with the dwarves and, after some discussion, the best course would be to sail to the northern harbor of Skalgaard. Unfortunately sailing to Skalgard from the south meant passing through the treacherous waters of the Talengail Straits. As the ship approached the Straits, Walker took a spot in the crow's nest. Agamon and Humperdink manned the sail lines and Kiltan took the wheel. Connacht stayed back in reserve, ready to lend a hand where needed.   With Walker shouting directions and Connacht running between Agamon and Humperdink to keep the man and halfling from flying off the deck, Kiltan was able to steer the ship through the narrow passage with only minimal damage.   The companions disembarked wiht the dwarves. Before going about his business in the city, Horus passed along that the journey to the mountains would begin in two days, giving the party time to rest and gear up. The group found themselves in the friendly confines of the Happy Horse tavern. While dining, the group noticed a young woman at a table across the tavern being corralled by two overly friendly ruffians. Humperdink swung into action, pulling the woman into a spirited dance. Some in the crowd joined in the raucous song and before either of the ruffians could intervene, the young woman spun from the halfling's arms, through the crowd and out of the door. Agamon was particularly impressed by the woman's dexterity and suspected she was more than a common tavern wench. His suspicions were confirmed when he glanced over at the ruffians and saw that the men had been fleeced.   With all the excitement done for the night, the party took a well deserved night's rest and woke to a clear chilly morning. Along with breakfast, the barmaid brought a note in a flowery handwriting to Humperdink.   You are more than meets the eye. If you wish a proper thank you, meet me at the Purple Lounge for mid day meal.
