Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Nurvenheathens are quite posh and often think themselves above everyone else, being of the land of the north, they believe that they are literally higher than the rest of the world and that everyone shall bow to them. They exalt their king and none may oppose those in royal power. Many people of taller stature are seen as beautiful as height is something that is looked up to, so to speak. There is also something comely about light colors. White hair, blue eyes, things of that nature, as there is much symbolism surrounding the sky in these lands.

Gender Ideals

Many of the men are expected to be grand and noble, giving up their lives for the women and children of the land, fighting hard to protect what is theirs. But men are also expected to look appealing and have a daintier and softer air to them. Many men adorn themselves with jewelry and they wear their hair in a way that will allow the wind to flow through it freely.   Normal women are expected to cook and clean, but noblewomen are expected not to have to do any such thing. They are supposed to be exalted and spoiled. They are supposed to have every lavish thing their heart desires. Women are put on a high pedestal and the men, in addition to everything, must earn the trust and loyalty of a woman.

Courtship Ideals

Those in higher class typically court others in similar class. the plain common folk often have no say in anything. The royals don't have much of an opinion of who the plain and average folk court, so long as it isn't one of the royals.

Relationship Ideals

Much comradrie is stirred about in Nurvenheath. Many befriend each other, as relationships have much more significance. they benefit the parties of each person who is part of the friendship, but they also benefit everyone else who surrounds and is affected by them. They put a lot of thought, energy, effort, and time into planning out who shall form relationships with whom for the greater good of all
