A shipmind is an artilect installed aboard a space vessel to oversee and operate its systems, or portions thereof.
  This an extreme example of artilects' ability to inhabit robotic "shells", in this case the entire ship effectively becomes the artilect's "body", who is able to see through its sensors and manipulate it systems.
