There is an urban legend going around in the universe about a mysterious creature that roams the shadows, driven by an insatiable desire to gather rare and forgotten artifacts from different planets. Its eyes gleam with an otherworldly curiosity as it seeks out the unique and the obscure, adding to its ever-growing collection. The legend say that those who cross its path may lose something precious or even their own lives to the collector's trove.

The collector appear in many horror related media, there is a newly released webcomic that features The Collector in an episode as the monster of the day. There are people who hope that the character will join the permanent cast. The author/artist have yet to reply.
