Nessa
I kinda wanna visit just to have a look. …I wanna see a monster too…Nessa is the only settlement on the planet of Areu. It's inhabitants are temporary as all of them are there for work or visiting the workers. It's surrounded by a large wall built to keep the Monsters out.
Location
Nessa is located in the northern parts of the planet. Around 40 minutes from a small ocean. The temperature is pretty even. There is usually no snow but it can get very chilly during one part of the year.Government
It's governed by the government of The Station and the highest leader on-site is the boss of the Extractors. This person answers to the government.History
After the Dragons moved into the Station it took them a while to learn to read the documents in there. After they had translated the documents and files, they decided that they had to get down to the planet below and mine the materials they needed to keep the Station functional. A lot of things needed mending after The Station had just drifted around abandoned for many hundreds of years. It took a while to establish a settlement because the monsters attacked everyone who landed on the planet. As well as the earthquakes rocking the planet often. The settlement was established in 522 and has weathered many earthquakes and attacks since then.Districts
Almost all houses in this settlement are dorms. Some of the dorm houses are better than other but that depends on the company that is paying for them. The districts are split after which company ones the houses in that area. There is a small district with normal houses and these are owned by the government. What’s in a name...
The name Nessa means Nest in Draconian. A language that the dragons spoke when the settlement was established. The settlement would’ve been named Ilu with the language that they are speaking now, Sound of Air, and there is indeed some people that calls the settlement that. But using the name Nessa is more common.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
