Mourad Sakkar
Mourad Sakkar was a famous botanical scientist from the city of Rassal on the eastern coast of the Tentottan peninsula. His frequent expeditions to the Moluran rainforests of Orubia lead to a multitude of discoveries that improved medicinal practises.
It was his life's mission to explore the depths of the Moluran rainforests and discover new species of flora to study. He also aspired to sample every edible fruit, vegetable, nut, berry and herb from the region.

Securing a War
Mourad discovered the healing properties of the Moluran breadfruit, which lead to the development of Sakkar Salve. This salve was used extensively by the Elite Rassalian Guard before they went into battle during the war of Rassal's Revenge. The soldiers ingested the salve before battle to prevent the paralytic effects of suluca poisoning that the Mosattan warriors of The Kingdom of Mosat were known for using in combat. If it weren't for Mourad's discovery, the shortest war in history would have dragged into a long and bloody battle and may have had a very different outcome.
