Alinon is a low-magic medieval world of continent-spanning kingdoms held together loosely by The King's Council. Though generations full of turmoil have led the Atrean kingdoms to a time of relative peace, it is becoming more and more clear that such a state will not remain for much longer, as tensions between the six Great Houses rise once again. The foundation on which the realm is built is an unstable one, and the waring of two regions could mean starvation for all the rest. Nevertheless, with each passing month, Alinon seems one step closer to chaos, as threats present themselves internally and from far lands, unmapped by even the most seasoned explorers. It seems as if the vanity of the kingdom's people may be their downfall, as their selfishness within their lands and apathy towards the lands beyond breed conflict which not even the most powerful of houses are prepared for.
