Leonard at the time of 1897 has a disability of the 3rd degree, which he received in the fall of 1880, when he took part in The Irrenean Independence War. For this reason, he is in a wheelchair and for many years in it he has become quite frail and very thin.

Leonard Gurje-Mennas Vornavik II was born in 1861 among the famous noble ruling family of Vornavik. His father Gurje I was the ruler of the country and was notorious for his racial policy towards the Ribeyan colonies and, in particular, on Irrinea. The mother was a descendant of the second most powerful family under the name of Dald.
Leonard spent his childhood in the huge Vornavik estate at that time, located in the Murie-Sateau Valley and occupying the area of a small town. It is worth noting that he received his father's attention reluctantly, but being at various political meetings, Leonard acquired some features and views of his father.
When Lanny turned 13, Gurje I died of a heart attack and power passed to his mother as his regent.
In 1880, a political crisis began in the Irrenean colonies, escalating into an uprising, the deployment of troops and military operations (read The Irrenean Independence War) in which Leonard decides to take part and bring back the Ribeyan lands. In the autumn of the same year, he was wounded by fragments of a mortar shell as a result of a reconnaissance sortie and became disabled. This radically changes his attitude to the world.
In 1884, his mother died and only then did he get the right to become King of Ribeya. Under the rule of Leonard II, Ribeya is changing for the better. There is sufficient funding for cities, a number of social policies are coming out, the country is becoming more open to its neighbors.
