Seasons
Aeveros has four seasons, each lasting two months or thirty-two days. The four seasons are Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
Months
Each month is sixteen days, and takes up half of a season. The year has eight months.
The first month is the Month of Fertile Soil. During the Month of Fertile Soil, the snow from Winter is melted and the soil is soft and moist to plant seeds.
The second month is the Month of Soothing Rain. In most areas, it's the wettest time of the year, and is the most essential month for plant growth. In some areas, it is considered a mini monsoon season.
The third month is the Month of Bright Sun. The sun is at the highest point in the sky and helps dry out the soil. As the plants begin to sprout, they are able to absorb most of the sunlight they need for photosynthesis during this month.
The fourth month is the The Month of Nurturing Warmth. The plants continue to grow, and the peak temperatures begin to show around Aeveros.
The fifth month is the Month of Changing Seasons. The temperature begins to drop again and the world transitions to Autumn.
The sixth month is the Month of the Seeds of Life. Many people begin to harvest their crops, and start sharing their bounty with their friends and family.
The seventh month is the Month of the Gift of Time. This month is about the time passing and the year coming to a close. It's usually a month of celebration, including feasts with the food from the prior months harvest.
The eighth and final month of the year is the Month of Blowing Wind. Winter has fully set in by this time, and the blowing wind causes many blizzards. Most people stay inside, huddled by the fire.
Days of the Week
Each month is split into four weeks, and each week is split up into four days. The first day is Dinsday, named after the golden goddess Din. The second day is Nayrusday, named after the golden goddess Nayru. The third day is Faroresday, named after the golden goddess Farore. The last day of the week is Hyliasday, named after the Goddess Hylia.
