The world of Ætherius consists of four continents all collectively called The Jade Isles: Minas Torgul, Minas Morgoth, Minas Delion, and Minas Tirith. They were named this as in an ancient language, the names mean: Place of Struggle, Place of Malice, Place of Plenty, and Place of Innocence, respectively. The story of World of Swords takes place in The White Mountains, one of the more prosperous and inclusive nations across the Jade Isles.
