Æternus

Æternus has two stars, five moons, and it is comprised of two spheres. The poles are deserts, and they alternate between being a blazing hot desert like the Sahara for one half of the year and being a frozen tundra the other half. The equator is consistently frozen rather than tropical. The first of the two spheres is the lower sphere, called the "Folands" and is where the land masses of the poles and the equator and all the oceans are located. All the other land masses are floating high above the Folands in the sky, basically in the mesosphere of the planet, this upper sphere is called the "Ardlands". The Ardlands are where the majority of the civilizations are located, with many different kinds of civilizations, countries, ruins, lakes, and rivers are. Between the land masses is a sea of clouds that can only be navigated by airships. In Æternus magic is prevalent everywhere, much of the flora and fauna are magical (think Xadia in the Dragon Prince if you've seen that). Due to this many of the societies in Æternushave adapted to using magic as part of their every day life, creating things from mundane magical items like magical brooms that sweep on their own and magical ovens, to using magic to power their cities and airships. There are however, societies that reject magic altogether, with some cities outlawing magic use altogether within their walls. Those societies prefer to focus on technological and scientific advancement.
