The Shrouded
Cult of the Faceless King.
The King was part of an alliance in an ancient war against the Undead Horde of Gaal Empire. The King betrayed his allies and joined the Gaal Empire. After the Gaal Empire lost the war, the King wore a shroud covering his face to hide his shame after the war.
Leader:
- High Priest of the Faceless King: The highest-ranking member of the cult, responsible for interpreting the will of the Faceless King and leading the organization.
- Council of Shadows: A group of trusted advisors and senior cult members who assist the High Priest in making important decisions and planning rituals.
- Shadow Seer: Chief advisor to the High Priest, responsible for divination and interpreting omens.
- Master Inquisitor: In charge of recruiting and vetting new members.
- Keeper of Secrets: Responsible for maintaining the cult's knowledge and archives.
- Champion of the King: Leads the cult's martial efforts and guards the High Priest.
- Mistress of Shadows: Oversees the cult's covert operations and espionage.
- Faceless Acolytes: Entry-level members who have just joined the cult. They are often tasked with basic rituals, learning the cult's history, and proving their dedication.
- Shroud Weavers: Skilled practitioners who specialize in creating and maintaining the shrouds worn by cult members. These shrouds symbolize their loyalty and devotion to the Faceless King.
- Specter Adepts: Experienced members who have mastered the cult's dark magic and secrets. They assist in rituals and may lead small groups.
- Whispering Shadows: Elite operatives skilled in espionage, sabotage, and assassination. They work in the shadows to further the cult's goals.
- Sentinels of the Veil: Cult members tasked with guarding the cult's hidden temples and sacred places.
- Soulbinders: Powerful spellcasters who commune with the spirit of the Faceless King and perform the most sacred rituals.
- Cult Fanatics: Extremely devoted members who are willing to die for the cause. They may undertake suicide missions if ordered by the High Priest.
