Hafrsfjord

Hafrsfjord is the Kingdom to occupy the region. A thousand years ago Hafrsfjord was the kingdom of Sveinsdôttir. Sveinsdôttir was the first established kingdom that untied the city states into one nation. It was during this kingdom's reign that the human Kingdom befriended and allied with the elves Sønskygge elves. the King of Sveinsdôttir, Sweyn Estridsson, had a vision. in that Sweyn saw foreign cultists from across the sea come and take over the land, he decided then to expel any who proselyte, forbidding them to settle in Sveinsdôttir. A thousand years later this prophesy is still upheld and until recently proselyting from any religion from the south have been allowed. Missionaries have been sent from the island kingdom of Ørige and with pressure from his cousin the king of Hafrsfjord looks like he may relent and allow priests of the Penitent Soul to come to Mjødsalen, the capital.
