Elemental Lords of Sha Al'ærin

In the country of Sha Al'ærin  they revere the elemental lords (Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire) as Gods and the Djinn as their divine servants. The elemental lords, in return for the worship and service to them, grant elemental boons that allow a city to flourish, such as water in an arid region, or crops to grow in a stone covered landscape. This has made the various communities of Sha Al'ærin little paradises in an otherwise inhospitable region.   The Grand Shas, the Sorcerer- Priests, give offerings and tithes to the elemental lords. These offerings and tithes come in many forms, a portion of crops or animals, sometimes great works of art carved from stone or wood are offered. worshipers can, with greater tithes, besiege their local Grand Sha to petition for blessings from the Elemental Lords on their behalf.
