Session 36 - GEP: The Black Rider Report

SESSION 36   8 JUL 2022   25 SEP 3024 Ǎ12 36288 Ê1   0600       TRAVEL INFORMATION:   Total travel: 162 miles from Shira-Mar, 138 miles from the border, out of 600 miles to the Leh'Teh village.       ***Travel is now difficult terrain, so the party travels at 24 miles a day, or 3 miles an hour with Ranmin's boost***   *** Nullified by Morigen ***       RECAP:   *Danior, Khepri, Morigen lost half their HP until a long rest *Party wrestles with the call. Deals with battle and confrontation with Hesh Ra'Ahn. *Ranmin needs to roll, DC17, Perception check. On a success he notices that his clothes have been resorted, and finds a note that says "How're doing".   SESSION:   0730 - Everyone up by this time. They took 3 despair points from the battle. Yendaya takes 2 points.     0800 - On the road.   0815 - Yendaya plays her song and everyone removes 1 despair point       0900 - Black rider appears. Morigen dismounts when she gets where she thinks it was. Yendaya tries to communicate with black e and then reconsiders.       1000 - Black rider appears closer.   Yendaya Dimension doors, and needs to make a DC18 Wisdom Check and failed. She is struck with Fear and took 10 points of Psychic damage. Engulfed in shade and then it was gone.       1100 - Black rider crosses path within a 100' going the opposite direction.       1200 - Proceed - 24 miles - No black rider.       1300 - Black rider is now watching them from behind about 550 feet. There was a confrontation with the black rider.       1315 -Short Rest   Yendaya plays song of rest and restores 5 HP       1415 - Back on the road.       1700 - 8 hours of travel @ 48 miles   *Setup camp. *Ranmin and Morigen scout around the campsite. *Ranmin looks for a hard wood stick *Morigen prays *Khepri remembers the history Harbinger of Sorrow, all who see him are marked by death. Has a conversation with Yendaya about it.       1800 - Yendaya helps Ranmin with project. Casts Heat Metal on scavenged sword. Takes hour to craft a utility knife blade.       1800 - Yendaya casts sending to her dad.       1930       Night Watch   Yendaya - 1st watch   Ranmin - 2nd watch   Khepri will trance 4 hours, then sit outside the hut and watch.           26 SEP 3024 Ǎ12 36288 Ê1   0500   Khepri is awake and cast Speak with Animals on a snake to see if it saw anything. It did see the black rider around the camp.   Ranmin is awake.       0600 - Morigen awake. Scout around camp, and finds nothing.       0730 - Sunrise and Yendaya is now awake. Cast Mage Hand to hold blanket as she packs up.       0800 - On the road.   Khepri is sharing Argento with Yendaya.       1200 - 24 Miles.       1600 - 48 Miles   Setting up camp   Ranmin cutting leather off of old armor and make a sheath for his utensils.   Khepri finds a palfry.   Yendaya casts Scrying on the black rider, and then casts Sending to her father for information. Prays to Symphonia for help.       Symphonia appears to Yendaya and tells her that the gods are at truce, and the Harbinger can't harm them without provocation.       Night Watch   *Morigen takes 1st and second watch *Ranmin 3rd watch *Khepri trances then sits outside hut     SESSION SUMMARY: Total miles traveled this session - 96 Miles       Next session begins at 0500 on 27 SEP
