Session 35 - PT: Port of Churling - PT 2 Report

SESSION 35   15 JUL 2022   28 SEP 3024 Ǎ12 36288 Ê1   1200   Guardsmen have found Atlia and request that they come and get Dunkel out of jail. The session starts with the party arriving at the Armory to see the sheriff.   The sheriff has arrested Dunkel for sleeping in a boat that doesn't belong to him. He put up a fight initially that landed some of her deputies at the local hospital. Dunkel let some things slip during his interrogation, and she would like the party's help.   There are some mountain trolls that raid the farms on the outskirts of the port. They had been sticking to live stock, and the occasional farmer's dog, but now some of the farmers and their families have gone missing. She is offering a reward of 10 Marks (133S/4C). There is also another person here whom the sheriff asks that the party brings along (Darinka's PC - Aisha).   1400 - The party meets a black rider. Kyo interacts with it. It says "Lady Death, Goddess of the Grave, and Empress of the Underworld bids me to deliver a message for her. She does not forget, but remembers all. She will have her revenge". Aisha has heard of this creature. It is called the Harbinger of Sorrow and brings calamity in its wake. It doesn't attack, and neither does the party. The party moves on to the Troll den.   1420: The party comes upon the troll camp, and a mighy battle ensues. It takes 40 minutes for our heroes to dispatch the beasts. They gain a great treasure from the trolls. Atlia collects a thumb from each troll to prove to give to the sheriff to prove the mission was completed, so Dunkel can be released. New bag of holding holds 25,000 Marks and 4,000 Marks and all items fill Vaela's bag of holding.   1500: Aisha goes her own way laden down with as much silver as she could carry, 7,670SP.     1600: Arrive at the city gates. Next session the party will be entering the gates.   Vaela will comune with her god about black rider.   The party needs to deliver the thumbs to free Dunkel.
