Session 3: Vanguard Castle Report

03 MAY 2019   18 AUG 3024 Ǎ12 36288 Ê1   The caravan leaves at first light to the second way station, the party encountered some of the barbarians and their Druid shaman. The Chieftain, named Lomax, seeks aid. His youngest son was undergoing the rite of passage and has gone missing. They are desperate for help and ask Aldric, the dragonborn, for aid. Lomax explains that his son was captured by bandits and they demand a ransom too high for him to pay. To make matters worse, he killed the bandit negotiator. The Druid shaman's apprentice, Seren, accompanies the party to free the Lomax's son.   Aldric succeeds in winning back the son, by engaging the bandit captain in a trial of single combat. The rest of the party disposes of the bandits with fire and death, as Aldric carries the boy to safety. Lomax is overjoyed and rewards the party. Seren Tanwyn becomes a permanent member of the party.
