Recap:

  The party was attacked by Duergar in the middle of the night, and all of their stuff was stolen. They tracked them back to Taurgird fortress and battled it out in the dungeon. Now they have taken the secret passage up to the barracks level, where they know the armory is. Seren has gone missing, and they need to find their stuff.      

Notes:

  The party waits in the secret passage, just outside the Barracks level. They suddenly notice that Seren is with them.   They proceed with caution, making their way to the Armory. Rossuli sneaks inside and finds all of their stuff strewn all over with two sleeping Duergar in the midst. Apparently they fell asleep searching through their stuff.   Yendaya casts Silence, and the party gathers up all of their things into the bag of holding. The only thing that they notice missing is the Dwarf stone.   They sneek back to the secret passage and head to the throne room in search of the stone. Here they encounter Gaius, Cosmin and Drusus' brother. He reveals that he is not to harm them, but to tell them whatever they wish to know and to release them. They find out:  

• The Dwarf Stone has been teleported to the Duergar Fortress.
• Gaius hates them for killing his brothers, but is forbidden to harm them by his father.
• The party is surrounded by invisibile Stone Guards, who have been watching them the entire time they have been in Taurgird.
• Thorsson is dead, and his head rests on a pike in Gaius' father's throne room.
• The Fell Army has been wiped out, except for the command structure and elite forces.
• The Duergar didn't participate in the slaughter at Shira-Mar's gates, they instead conquered Taurgird, which was pretty much defenseless.
• The enemy Nahpel has rewarded the Duergar.
• Eshkataran Epilektoi guard Gaius, making combat a suicide mission.
• The party is warned not to come back, otherwise they will be killed immediately.

  After finding out all they can, the party is escorted out the secret entrance.     In a state of extreme frustration, Yendaya casts Teleportation Circle, knowing that Shira-Mar has one. Unknown to her, the Teleportation Circle has been severely damaged, but they succeed in teleporting to Shira-Mar. They feel a diety helped them, as the Teleportation Circle falls apart after use.   The party makes their way to a guard station and sees that there are none below. They see the destroyed walls. Clara chooses to remain on the battle field to meditate. The rest of the party goes to the upper level where they are challenged by a guard. Seren reveals her credentials and a wounded Maiden comes to escort them to the top level, where they meet Nitalya, the captain of the Maidens.   Nitalya recounted the battle to the party, the fall of the king Hri Manduas, and Hulé, who rushed to his body and unleashed her Maidens upon the Fell army. They turned the tide of the battle and all but destroyed the enemy. Hesh Ra'Ahn then appeared, and siding against the Veh'lyn, slew most of the Maidens. Hesh Ra'Ahn, newly renamed Hell, then attacked Hulé, until she lay bleeding and presumed dead. It was then that Bàziel shown forth like a lightning bolt. She decended upon Hell and struck many blazing blows that felled her and caused her to move no more.   Bàziel seeing the broken form of Hri and Hulé turned her back on Hell to retrieve Hri's bloody crown. It was then that Hell arose from her death pose and hurled a spear that gravely wounded Bàziel. The Mor'Rahg brothers appeared and took Bàziel to safetly, while Hell slunk back to her underworld domain.   Kàthé then arrived to aid her fallen mother, Hulé, with all of her Maidens, and utterly destroyed the remains of the enemy and secured the area and the city.   After retelling the tale, Nitalya bid the party to rest, and provided them a room for the night. After securing their room, Yendaya polymorphed into a great owl and patrolled the area, not entirely sure that they were safe.   Realizing that Clara had not returned, Rossuli went down to get her, but found all of her equipment and a note. She had left the party. He used his Talisman to alert the party. Seren came running down to find Clara, but was overwhelmed after stepping onto the battlefield. Rossuli picked her up and they both returned to the room. Wanting protection and solice, Yendaya casts Leomund's Tiny Hut, and the party slept inside.
