Half-Orcs

Free bands of lesser Orc, though few in number, that have not bent the knee to Näpel are mostly responsible for the majority of Half-Orcs, as they are not evil, and have interaction with the barbarian tribes and nearby dwarven settlements. While forced unions may not be unheard of, these would mainly be due to those creatures, both male and female, captured in raids by lesser Orcs and forced to live in their encampments. These Half-Orcs would be as evil as their lesser Orc forebears, and speak Fell Speech (Infernal).   A player character that knows the Orc language would have to have a lasting interaction with the Half-Orcs that speak it. It is not a language that Orcs, nor Half-Orcs openly admit to, but speak it only among their kin. Around humans and dwarves, they speak common. They don't have close interaction with Elves, while they don't hate them, they are wary of each other.   Half-Orcs are rare near the human kingdoms. Humans are the most accepting of them, and only then in the Marcher Kingdoms. They can also be found throughout barbarian tribes and clans in the Wilds.
