He stole the power source (Feiros) of the Great Mural (Toikō). This darkened the sight of the gods, so they could no longer govern their realms effectively, and corruption began.   Näpel started the corruption by seeking to control the populations of Ä’Resh. He used the power source (Feiros) to make 4 gems that had the power to control 4 different species. The clear crystal gem controls elves, the green gem controls dwarves, the blue gem controls humans, and the red gem controls all fey creatures (goblins, orcs, trolls, hobgoblins, gnolls, ogres, etc.). This led to corruption in the species, making evil versions, and causing great harm to innocent peoples (humans, elves, dwarves, halfling, gnomes, etc.). Trying to conquer through control and corruption ultimately failed, however, so he switched to a different plan.   The gods stood in judgement of Näpel, but not every one of them believed that he had become evil. Others sided with him, preferring to cruelty and destruction to their former protector role. The gods that sided against Näpel are the Vé’lyn, and those that joined him are called the Pip’tän.   The Vé’lyn began to search for champions to help fight evil, as they feared open war should they intervene directly. Some of these gods have already sought out members of the party, others will find the remaining party members soon. The plan is to gather all of the controlling gems to weaken Näpel, and then confront him to take back the power source (Feiros) and make him stand in judgement for all the death that he has wrought.   Soon after the party joined the fight, Näpel gathered an army of all corrupted and evil species, along with evil fey, to try and subjugate all the peoples, which culminated in the Battle for Shira-Mär. The city is now wrecked and broken, with almost all of the elves, all of the dwarves, and a good number of other humanoid races being wiped out in the battle. All that remains is their evil kin (goblins, hobgoblins, duergar, Ä’bé (Drow), etc.   Exodus of Elves
Seren, along with Käthé (goddess of the hunt), lead all elves back to the Feywild. Barely a handful of elves remain on this plane.     The Quest for the Gems   The crystal gem (elves): The party gained the crystal elf gem from the king of Shirä-Mär. One of his representatives, Ä’rämiel, was in possession of it. He fell to the temptation of the gem, and the party had to fight him. In the process, they lost the gem to Skōtäs, the god of darkness. He wishes them to go on a quest for him, in return he will give back the gem.   The green gem (dwarves): Leading up to this battle, Näpel made a deal with a clan of mountain dwarves, who became corrupted by the green gem. They are the Düérgár. The party was able to gain the green gem, after freeing Thōrrson and all the elvish captives from Taurgird fortress. While passing back by Taurgird, the party was ambushed by Düérgár, and the green gem was taken back, and the party released.   The blue gem (humans): It was rumored that the blue gem was at the Citadel, fortress of the Crimson Order. They, however, had no knowledge of it and began searching their archives to try and locate it. A foreign army, Eshkätärans, laid siege to the Citadel, looking for the blue gem. The party barely escaped capture while fleeing. An old wizard named Ōlorin, helped the party escape by teleporting them. A different party found the blue gem in a one-shot adventure. It became lost. This party met mysterious humans that control undead, who also sought the blue gem.   The red gem (fey): It is rumored that the hobgoblin leader, Kai’Phä, is in possession of the red gem. He is believed to have survived the Battle for Shirä-Mär.     Titan’s Quest   After the battle of Shirä-Mär, Bäzíel, was severely wounded and could not be healed. She sought refuge at the Citadel, where the party was. The party was sent on a mission to get Kü’keon (nectar of the gods) to heal her. They met one of the Rephím, Zä’Mirr, who controls access to the Kü’keon. He made a deal with them that he would give Kü’keon to Bäzíel to heal her, if they would agree to get back his items that his brothers have. In addition, he agreed that he and his brothers would fight Näpel. Finding out that gods can’t hurt Rephím, the party agreed to his terms.   The Six Titan (Rephím) Brothers The party must locate and get the items from the 6 brothers.   Krüos - Ice: Part of the party has already completed this quest. They have the item for Zä’Mírr   Kataigis - Storm:

Püros - Fire:

Ané'Mus - Wind/Sky:

Lithos - Stone:

Éōrthé - Earth: He is located in the underworld, guarded by dragons.

Skōtäs’ Quest: Use the amphora that he provided to gather liquid from the river Letüm, which is in the underworld.         Current Notable NPCs:   Euon: The last of the Lé'Tä elves. He sought out the party and offered to teleport them to all of the Rephím locations, as he knows where they are, in exchange for acquiring all of his scrolls. The party agreed to this. He teleported them 24 miles from his house. He could not risk getting any closer, as the Díō'Koi would easily pick up his scent and massacre the party. They recently completed this task.   Ōlorin: a wizard the party met at the Citadel. He was studying giant goats, which was helpful to the party in seeking out Krüos, ice brother. He also helped the party escape from Krüos' domain, and housed the party while they recovered, then teleported them to join the rest of the party at Euon's house. He also helped the other party escape the Citadel when the Eshkätärans breached its gates.     Bad gods actively trying to kill you: So far there is only one god, Hesh Rä'Än (goddess death and the grave), is trying to actively kill you.   She has sent a black rider, called the harbinger of sorrow, to harass both of the parties when they were split. He has sent giant spiders, hellhounds, werewolves, zombie trolls, and other things to destroy you. He has haunted your dreams. Apparently there was a truce among the gods, so he could not directly hurt you.   There is a rumor that this is no longer the case. The party must always be on their guard, for they all have been marked. If the truce is ever broken she will come for you all.
