Vampire
Basic Information
Anatomy
The vampire looks consistently like its parent race, of which there can be any, for example, an elf-vampire, would have pointy ears. The most noticeable differences are the ability to extend the incisors or "fangs" in order to drink blood, and a paler skin tone.
Genetics and Reproduction
The species of vampire reproduces via bites to other sapient creatures, injecting a virus-like toxin into the system of their victim thereby transforming them into a vampire.
Growth Rate & Stages
A newly formed vampire is known as a lesser vampire and every 100 years they progress up a tier, should they choose to consume more people than necessary, or make other lesser vampires this process is sped up.

Ecology and Habitats
The vampire can often be found inhabiting cities or towns as they have the most shade, living amongst residents of the town.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The vampire is a blood sucker, the vampire does not, however, need to kill its victims, it can do so if it chooses too.
Vampires typically extract blood via a bite to the neck, extending needle like "fangs" which then can take a small amount of blood to maintain the vampire.
Behaviour
Vampires are often known to be irritable and sometimes regarded as weird or kooky this is believed to correlate with a lack of vitamin D.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The vampire has all of the abilities of its parent race; however, it can lose and gain some abilities. Holy abilities and other religion related powers will often be found unusable. The vampire ceases to age. The vampire gains the ability to morph into a bat, flight while in bat form, and the ability to temporarily place people under their "thrall" making it so that they are more suggestable to the vampire's whims. Note that these gained vampire abilities like others require practice to use well, and that more blood consumption is required to use these powers. The vampire also gains an severe allergy to garlic (which can be treated through standard means) and sensitivity to sunlight.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Vampires, due to not having a more organized society, do not have many naming traditions. However, they can often be found with titles due to their longer lifespan.
Major Organizations
None, vampires are frequently persecuted by fellow sapiens in mobs, which is not to mention the Human Purists Movement and their attacks on vampires as well as other fantasy races. The often live amongst other species that they once were, perhaps in a position of governmental power, or just as an outlier to society.
History
Vampires were widely regarded as a myth, as with most magical things until recent history, they are widely regarded as scary, due to the actions of some crueler vampires. However, like humans, they can be either evil or good, so these myths are largely false.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Vampires often intermingle with other species, as with other races there will always be outliers, but vampires generally have a positive veiw on other species.
