The world of Slobber and Teeth is filled with terror at sea, where the pirate ship Slobbernaught sails. More beast than vessel, she is crewed by living mimics that raid, feast, and plunder. Every part of the ship hungers, from the smallest bell to the largest cannon, and her legend grows with each boarding.

Among her arsenal, none strike fear quite like the SAB shot. Short for Sing and Burn, these grotesque cannonballs are not forged of iron but grown by the mimic cannons themselves.

The Nature of SAB

Each round forms as a swollen sac, slick with brine and pulsing with mimic life. When launched, it bursts on impact, spraying an acidic slime that stings like a venomous sea creature before burning deeper into flesh, cloth, and timber alike. The agony spreads as the slime clings, refusing to wash away with seawater, leaving sailors screaming while their ships smolder around them.
