Alania Balmore

They were born in 2174 in Hilo, Hawai'i, one of the few places not conquered by the P.T.I. They could reportedly read by age 2 and was going basic algebra by 3rd grade. They chose not to skip over any classes, graduating High School in 2192. They graduated from Harvad University with a Major in Physical science and Technology in 2195, in only three years as opposed to the normal four. They would then get a PhD in technology from the Texas Instutute of Techology and Sciences in 2199, and go on to join the Space Force in 2200 as a technician. In 2202, they designed the first functional Nuclear Fusion Engine, built be the Space Force in 2204. They were promoted to chief engineer of the Space Force in 2203, but spent much of their time developing new technology on her own, in every field. They designed multiple spacecraft, such as the Mariner Class and the Vernon Class, which would remain the most advanced ships until the 2250s. They would then design the first fully nuclear Fusion powered spacecraft, the Possibility Class in 2212. They would marry their wife in 2213, Alessandra Mytaras, Who herself would go on to develop many important technologies. They would advance Virtual Reality and begin a project called 'Universe II' to make a realistic VR experience early indistinguishable from Reality but without real-world consequences in 2218. They would then invent a magnetic spinning chair that could float above a platform simply because she 'felt like it would be fun'. They would design a spacecraft that could leave the atmosphere using Nitrogen from the atmosphere mixed with oxygen, making Spaceflight 100% clean. These ships where first introduced in 2224, and became the primary form of leaving and entering Earth's atmosphere by 2234. They would then go on to focus in developing a warp ship and achieve Light Speed. Balmore's first warp ship, The Infinify I would have its first test flight in 2234, successfully generating notable fluctuations in space. In 2235, it underwent two further test flights, although it would not make a full Warp Bubble until 2237. In 2244, The Infinity II was launched. The first Warp flight was achieved on April 4th, 2244, with the main theme from Star Trek: First Contact (1996) being played over the live stream. (Balmore considered the Apollo 13 (1995) main theme, and the theme from The infinities (2044-2051) but plots involved the mission going wrong.) The flight would be from Earth to Mars, taking 2 minutes and 42 seconds. The Infinity III , launched in 2249, would make the same trip in just 56 seconds. However, Balmore stopped working on Warp ships and cautioned against their use until the technology was further developed due to their concerns about the safety of the vessels. Sure nothing had gone wrong yet, but if one of those ships exploded while at warp, it could create a black hole that would be nearly impossible to move right in the middle of the Solar system. She instead went o medical school from 2253-2257 and graduated at the age of 83 with the goal of extending her own life. She was diagnosed with Cancer in 2261, and put al her resources into curing the disease (although in previous centuries, Cancer had became a smaller problem and treatable, it was not designated as being a preventative disease that could be wiped it, like Smallpox or the Flu.) She would develope a cure for cancer while working with the Medicals geniuses of the day, and she was declared cured from cancer with no possibility of it returning in 2262. She died in 2278 at the age of 104, But only after drawing up blueprints to reawaken her consciousness in Computerized form. She also left behind the blueprints of a Time Machine. (many have questioned if this would work of not, And The Terran Republic had prohibited the use of these blueprints to build a time machine, saying that more research is to be put into the concept, if it is possible at all.)
