The King of Berin's Royal Guard
These soldiers were the most formidable soldiers in the Kingdom of Berin and had unwavering loyalty to their king. Mario I of Berin replaced them with a different guard that had some key differences (all the former guards died in the battle for the palace and Mario I of Berin needed an imperial guard).
The guards always the eldest sons of noble families who were sacrificed to the king of Berin at the tender age of 6. They were raised and trained extensively until the age of 22 when they were sterilized so they won't be able to establish dynasties of their own if they rebelled and deposed the king. Their service was lifelong and they were treated very well by the kings of Berin. This order and it's practices died with the Kingdom of Berin. The royal guards were eunuchs only once Arquado I Leocardo (lionheart) Hastatodextrus came to power in 420 B.B. He was a royal guard himself and started this practice of sterilizing the guards to cement the loyalty of the royal guard and to make sure that if one dares to sleep with one of the kings wives or concubines, there won't be any succession problems that will tear the kingdom apart. He rose to power because there were guards sleeping with the king's women which caused the kings sons' to claim each other illegitimate because because they were bastards who weren't born to the king. The royal guard at the time, whose head was Arquado Leocardo Hastatodextrus, took advantage of the situation and killed all the potential claimants to claim the throne for himself.
