Dragon Seeker

When one says dragon seeker, they usually refer or to people who look for dragons and follow them. These people follow dragons to get extremely expensive materials like dragon teeth which are shed by dragons, dragon poo which is believed to have medicinal qualities, dragon feathers, and if they are insanely lucky, they find a dragon corpse which is carefully guarded as it is chopped to pieces to be sold. Dragons are so rare, dangerous and avoidant of humans that this is one of the most common interactions between humans and manderthals and dragons (besides tame brontodragons). Tracking a dragon and getting your reward takes a very long time because it takes forever until you find a dragon and a long time passes before it leaves you something other than it's excrement.

Provided Services

Dragon seekers rarely travel alone as it's more dangerous and inconvenient than working and traveling as a group. This means that dragon seekers could be traveling with other dragon seekers as well as thugs, mercenaries and porters to raise the chances of the ventures being more profitable. However, the seekers need to assemble their own team as there is no formal institution for such things.   Traders can get their hand on luxury goods to sell these rare luxury goods to the rich in faraway lands. The traders get the stuff for a relatively cheap price because dragon materials aren't worth much in the hands of their collectors in the wilderness because they aren't the most practical of things. The materials really gain their value at the hands of the traders. Also, they really help you rake in a profit if you are one of those people who owns a rest stop in the middle of nowhere for the weary traveler (you get paid with all sorts of bits and bobs that are worth a pretty penny).

Dangers & Hazards

Getting killed by wild animals, getting killed dragons, get killed by other dragon seekers or succumbing to the elements or murderous debt collectors. A lot of novice dragon seekers resort to this dangerous job to get out of financial trouble. Dragon seekers can also get in trouble with the law by trespassing or get in political trouble by getting caught in a foreign state. This usually doesn't happen unless there are dragons on a border between two states that hate each other and in areas with frequent patrols. Even then, the chances are low because the only way to get in trouble is by running into a patrol or getting spotted from a watchtower and getting caught. This is because borders weren't really defined to well which leaves a sort of grey area between states. Also, a lot of deserts don't belong to anybody and also act as grey areas. If you are tracking a rare desert dragon then you can die of thirst or starvation if you don't know how to live in the desert.

Demand
People tend to shy away from this dangerous job.
Legality
The seeking is legal, the killing isn't. However, because they spend most of their time in the wilderness, there are no witnesses to most of the crimes or higher authority to deal with them. Therefore, might makes right in the wilderness. Though people turn a blind eye because of of what these people bring back.
