Ta'a
The God among the Gods
Ta'a, Taha, the First Consciousness
Ta'a (sometimes called Taha) is, in Tahanist beliefs, the first thing to gain self-consciousness, even before the Universe was created. It is, therefore, considered as the God-Among-Gods, even if it's not the one that created the Universe.
In the North of Caucasus and the Fengati part of former Crimea, it is reprensented with the head of an owl, the legs of a chicken and the body of a female human who holds the Universe within its genitals. Ta'a cannot be gendered, not only because "it" is everything, but mostly because Fengati culture doesn't even know what gender is. In more recent representations, it has a female body without boobs and with giant genitals, and has two calm but exhausted eyes floating where its head should be, but still holds the universe in its genitals.
