Double Sunrise Tequila

Double Sunrise Tequila is the most popular drink on Ulaan for one reason: there is no hangover. You can drink as much of it as you want and only feel the effects of not sleeping. However, it gets you twice as hammered as normal tequila and it affects the solar magic within your body. Fire spells become lighting spells, and levitation could become a fireball. Because of this, Double Sunrise has a large warning label telling buyers "Don't drink and fly!" or "Magic and margs don't mix!" or "Friends don't let friends drink and use necromancy."   It is a very easy spirit to come by despite its higher price point and can be found in most taverns or inns. The tequila is distilled from an agave-like plant that has bright stripes of neon color laid over the traditional blue agave plant. It is harvested, distilled, and aged to various colors, but all have the same bluish tint that gets darker with age.    The most popular way to drink Double Sunrise is a violet colored drink called a Megarita, which is served in a large stein filled with ice, Double Sunrise, the juice of a whole Ruby Red Lime, simple syrup made from the sugar from the  Sugar Mines of Boris, and a rim salted with local desert salt. Most wizards then crush the ice into slush and chug the entire stein in one go.
