He was the mighty hero who would slay one of history's worst monsters, and save the world from magic devastation through misuse of the Netherbane, a magical Dwarven weapon sealed away by the Dwarves. Xander famously planned to break the pact between the mortal races to never use it in war, but Sayen prevented him from stealing it.
