Now we make it back to town, gates are closed though.
 
Found our way in but the guards are not standing post, we make our way to the serpent inn to talk with the bar keep sisava (bar is busy tonight)
 
Lack of guards seems to catch the bartender off guard. Says she's not seen them all night.
 
Down south, heard there were some folks that went missing, "Adventurers" of the shady type
 
I told the story of the corpse flower ... horribly not much of a bard time for bed
 
When we woke up, guard from the night shift still never showed up. New shift is on and said they never saw them
 
We make our way to the central meeting house
 
We do talk to the elders they pay us for looking into the corpse flower issue. (750G)
 
They mention that something in the woods to the south is causing less scrupulous folks to go missing. Some say dont bother looking, but we likely should check it out
 
We found out that one of the folks that went missing had a stash, the local contact told us where to find it. We are headed down that trail and found tracks (with unknown track)
 
We ran into a troll ... who is now charging us ...battle
