The Rabid Lands have always been an inhospitable place as the name would imply however people still frequently try to settle in it to some success. Our heroes are members such group of people, or at least initially associated as they choose. Dragon hunting has been long outlawed because many saw it as something that unnecessarily incited the wrath of dragons to already struggling settlements, which was mostly true. However recently giants have been banished form the Karnum by their own God and since then the primary adversaries of the dragons were gone. It is yet to be seen what this will result in for The Rabid Lands and Yuruk-Tar as a whole however the protagonists of this story will almost certainly find out.
