The Lion, The Lich and the Wardrake

One thousand years ago the king, Iannus Morle, died bequeathing his lands in equal shares to his legitimate sons Hunstan and Seetrus. Seetrus grew greedy and in a desperate grab at more power undertook the process of becoming a lich. Killing his brother and turning everyone in the city of Qiqik to undead, Seetrus started making plans to pull the entire continent under his cold grasp. The bastard son of Iannus, the Black Lion, challenged and destroyed the lich, destroying it's phylactery and dying in the process. The black lions son, Lisandro I, created a new kingdom on the ruins of the old and thus Morlania was born.   Now, a thousand years later, rumours of a returning ancient evil grow louder and the shadows grow longer.
