Prologue E1 147 GDC Dilya, the 3rd Day of Avourel: Against the Blight Report

General Summary

Merla Flouborne, Dane Hearthstone, and the Warforged Beacon, have tracked down their mortal enemy Zinovar Longmourn, the Dragon Lord. He has disrupted the lives of these three heroes over the years with his misguided zeal and hunger for power. Now aligned with The Scarlet Flame, one of the last great dragons of all time after the Great Dragon Calamity, they are all but unstoppable. The heroes are bound to stop the pair atop the Mithaenon mountain, the last natural barrier from the blight unleased unto this world. The three were quickly overwhelmed by the Dragon Lord and The Scarlet Flame, their bond a literal force to be reckoned with as the mountainside crumbled beneath the white hot flame. The party were dispersed as one by one were thrown off the cliff, left to their doom. Merla, sacrificing the cost of the artifact once given by her brother, transformed it into a dragon of pure gold. As the pair disengaged at the parties defeat, the trio chose to save their own and fight another day, descending down through the storm seeking a place to rest.
