Councilwoman Eda Oweland
Eda is the current senior member of the town council, as well as the owner of three large fishing boats. She has lived in Saltmarsh all her life and has been elected to the council three times. She is a gruff, pragmatic woman whose graying hair is worn straight and below her shoulders, or braided elaborately behind her head. Her face bears the marks of a life lived outdoors. Eda is keenly interesting in expanding Saltmarsh's fishing industry, her sights set on a wild section of the coast where she hopes to build a new dock. She is suspicious of the dwarves' mining operation and doubts it will amount to much.
Master Carpenter Elduran Tamniel d`e'Nonche
Elduran is a High Elf with a dark sense of humor and keen skills as a carpenter. She is the indispensible, and de facto, artisan of a dozen trades in Saltmarsh. Driven by tragedy but guided by hope, Elduran is a woman with a mission to rebuild the world. One board at a time.
Councilman Gellan Primewater
Gellan is a well spoken, dapper older gentleman with a neatly trimmed beard and a fancy wardrobe. With his cunning instincts, he has positioned his family to become the most prominent merchants in town. His position on the council allows him to maintain his business ventures while supporting all aspects of the traditionalists' agenda. Because Gellan is the wealthiest man in town, he garners a great deal of popular support from the many feasts, entertainments, and other diversions he supports with expenditures and donations.
