Session 19: Night of Serenity Report

General Summary

The party after talking to Thuron and Alashna Ravonich, return to their ship for a good nights rest. They sleep well that night in their hammocks, finding the cool ocean air helping their rest.   However the next day they hear quite the commotion outside of their ship. Green Pate quickly arrives and tells the party their is a situation happening outside, that there is quite the crowd forming. The party gears up, gets their armor on and heads outside.   Outside the crowd has become quite large upon The Docks. Seeing the party the crowd erupts into cheers and thanks for saving Freeport. A bit perplexed on how the citizens of Freeport already know this, they learn that their names and deeds in saving the city had been printed in the daily newspaper The Shipping News. The party is surprised how fast this information had been released but decide right now not to pursue why this is so. However they have suspicions on who the source could have been.   As the party manages to get out of their ship into the city they discover what the price of fame has brought them. They are recognized everywhere they go. Many citizens come to them to shake their hands and give thanks for keeping them safe. This makes it difficult at times to move around the city. They realize it will now also be very difficult to move about the city quietly.   The party then spends the day shopping, and getting supplies for future adventures together. They then spend an entire week in downtime. Some carousing and learning new contacts. Elitessa learning of three individuals known as Krov of the @Freep, Crask Tolberg of the @Freeport, and Captain Lars Manreel. The head of the famed Freeport Pilot's Guild. Ganbold spends the week in the city as well however his adventures are not as stellar, at one point during his drunken merry making he had hired a tattoo artist to add a new tattoo to his back. He attempted to get a tattoo of Diala but unfortunately because of his bad description it turned into a full back tattoo of a very hairy naked Dwarf. Jorin and Hanz spent the week in study, as they continued to further their skills in carpentry. Diala and Rothgar spent the week learning of any treasures in ruins that lay within the area around Freeport. Both of them learned of at least a few places to go and explore in the future.
