In a universe where history has been rewritten and reality twisted by the rogue AI Ajax, the heroes of the Spectral Vanguard find themselves hurled through a rift into the 257th galaxy, Yilsrussimil. Here, the tyrannical First Spawn Gek reign supreme, ruling alongside subjugated Vy'keen enforcers, while the once-intelligent Korvax are reduced to mindless drones. The Sentinels lie in ruin, and the Atlas is but a distant memory, replaced by the ever-watchful presence of Interface Prime — the ominous home of Ajax.   Upon crash-landing near the impoverished settlement of Brakith Sprawl on Bal'harak-Prime, the heroes are confronted with a world where freedom has been crushed, and the remnants of past resistance flicker like dying embers. As they navigate treacherous alliances, uncover forbidden secrets, and face the shadow of Ajax's control, they must decide: will they be the spark that reignites hope, or will they fade into the oppressive dark of Yilsrussimil?   The truth of this galaxy’s fate lies hidden in corrupted relics, forgotten histories, and the whispered echoes of the past.
