Session 4 Report

General Summary

The party began their session at Adelphos's house. Adelphos explained to them the options they had in front of them, as well as the components that would be necessary for the Ravens to complete their ritual and free Amora. After that, Adelphos suggested that they explore the Abbey for items that can be used to that end. However, Adelphos was unable to teleport them directly to the Abbey, so he offered to send them either to Caminster, Mestone, or Ziragzig. The party chose to make their way to Ziragzig and to book passage to Siopdre from there. Adelphos teleported them away, and the party showed up in a lean-to adjoining an alleyway.    As the party stepped out, they found that Ziragzig was throwing a festival of sorts. The party made their way to the docks and were seen by the Ziragzig guards. One of them recognized Lex, but Amethyst cast invisibility on him in order to help them get to the docks. The rest of their trip was uneventful, and they arrived at the docks to find that Ziragzig's navy was docked on the harbor. There were just a few ships available for passage out of the city, though none of them would take them to Siopdre. That is, none but Crazy Bill's ship, who they booked passage for for 300 gold.    The party began to make their way back to the city, and Amethyst bought some trinkets from a man selling them during the festival. After the party began to make their way back to city center, Lex body checked many people while invisible and was almost discovered by the guards. However, he was able to escape and made his way to the inn, where he laid low for the rest of the night.   At the inn, the party met Thorin the barkeep and Amethyst flirted heavily and invited him up to her room. Satra went to bed, and Lex snuck out of the room early. He approached the White Palace to try and attain an audience with Morbius. However, the guards at the front rebuffed him until he decided to go around the back. He attempted to climb up to the balcony but failed to do so, and then returned to the front where he again accosted the guards. He asked for a son of Morbius and one of them appeared to wave the guards off and parley with him. However, he decided that he wanted to make a break for the doors and shoved down this son in his attempt to make it in. He was soon subdued by Maron and would have died except Maron said "you owe me" and only knocked him out to dump him in the street.    Lex awoke in the street to a child kicking his head and made a break for the docks. There, he found Crazy Bill outfitting his magical ship in the worst way, and the party was headed to Siopdre. Once they arrived, they were forced to jump off and swim the 150 feet to shore before stepping into the jungle. The party passed through a skills challenge with Earth, Fire, and Ice stages and arrived in front of the entrance to the Abbey. There they were met by Brook Blazerod, who told them that the only way to get in was to use her as a guide and that's where the session ended.
