Session 62: The Synthetic

General Summary

13th Tormale   The party descended into the crypt, accompanied by Bryn and Ekke and leaving Rhain to keep an eye on their backs from above. They encountered several mercenaries and mages within, fighting through the halls and burial rooms until they reached the caverns below. There they found something entirely novel to all, or most of, their experiences — a man enhanced with powerful abjuration artificery, his body cut apart and reformed to withstand the immense forces coursing through it. The man charged them, attacking great strength as he cried out for it to end. As they fought him, they were hit from behind. Jarbera Blackhood, one of the mages of the Raven's Eye, took them by surprise and descended on them with men at her side. It took all they had to fend off the forces from both sides but at last they managed to defeat Jarbera and to break through enhanced man's wards, at last bringing him peace.
