Session 28 - GEP: The Fortress Report

General Summary

10 DEC 2021   17 SEP 3024 Ǎ12 36288 Ê1 0100   Our session resumes where we last left off, at 1AM after just having all of their stuff stolen. The party is resolved to quickly get their stuff back.   They search the area and find a broken branch, and some foot prints that lead to Taurgird Fortress. At this time they realize that Seren is not with them, and they have no idea where she is. After discussion it is decided that the party must quickly get their possessions back, before the enemy has time to prepare. They press on stealthily, making their way to the tunnel that they used previously to enter the Fortress. At about 3AM they find it and are successful in entering.   They proceed into the tunnel and the first room they come to is the barracks. Inside they find a number of Duergar Soulblades, which they easily overpower. They proceed in searching the dungeon level and come upon a troop of Duergar riding giant spiders. A mighty battle ensues, but our heroes emerge victorious.   Remembering the secret passage that let them traverse unseen in the Fortress previously, they find the passage and proceed to the next level. Our session stopped with the party having just made it to the next level, and still hiding in the passage.
